Government has extended the cut-off date for government employees to choose the new Unified Pension Scheme by three months until September 30, 2025. UPS offers an assured pension of 50% of average basic pay drawn over the last 12 months before superannuation for central government employees with a minimum of 25 years of service. Earlier, the deadline was June 30.
