Maharashtra government has announced a 12% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees under the unrevised pay scale of 5th Pay Commission. With this hike, which'll be effective from July 1, 2024, the DA will rise from 443% to 455% of the basic pay. The DA will be paid in cash along with the salary for February 2025.
