At least 19 people were killed and over 300 were injured as thousands of people protested in Nepal against ban on social media platforms. Opposition parties have called for the resignation of PM KP Sharma Oli, blaming the government for the escalation of violence. Nepal has banned Instagram, WhatsApp and other platforms, accusing them of failing to comply with regulations.
