The death toll in the stampede at Vijay's rally in Karur has risen to 41 after a 65-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. Among the deceased are 18 women, 13 men, and 10 children. Vijay had announced an aid of ₹20 lakh each to the families of the deceased. CM MK Stalin had announced ₹10 lakh each.
