DDEL’s subsidiary MPPL secured a favourable order from PSERC regarding its biomass-based PPA with PSPCL. The Commission upheld the 10-year extension and ruled PSPCL cannot unilaterally fix tariffs. PSERC will decide the new tariff on November 6, 2025. DDEL expects a fair rate, considering variable and fixed costs, and has also appealed a prior PSERC ruling.
