Iran criticised US President Donald Trump's travel ban on countries, saying it showed "deep hostility" towards Iranians and Muslims. It added that the move also violates international law. Notably, US has banned nationals from 12 countries including Iran, Afghanistan, Libya and Sudan from entering the country. Trump had argued that the ban was necessary to protect against "foreign terrorists".
