Actor Deepika Padukone was appointed as the first-ever ‘Mental Health Ambassador’ by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Friday. "I'm deeply honoured to serve as the first-ever Mental Health Ambassador...I look forward to working closely with the Ministry," Deepika stated. She will work to educate people about mental health and encourage more Indians to seek help.
