Deepika Padukone has been honoured with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hollywood Chamber of Commerce receives several nominations each year. A selection panel then selects a number of inductees. Upon selection, there's a $85,000 (nearly ₹73 lakh) sponsorship fee, used to pay for creation and installation of the star, as well as maintenance of the Walk of Fame.
