The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), on 5 August 2025, cleared various proposals amounting to a total of ₹67,000 crore. Equipment for all branches of the military has been approved, including the procurement of thermal image-based driver night sights for the Indian Army; compact autonomous surface crafts, BrahMos fire control systems and launchers.
