Amid investigation into late Assamese singer Zubeen Garg's death, All Assam Lawyers' Association announced they won't be defending those accused in the case. Their statement read, "The death under mysterious circumstances has given rise to suspicion, mystery and a sense of conspiracy." It added, "Allowing their conscience to defend the accused will be a historical mistake for legal fraternity."
