The Delhi government has banned the purchase, sales and distribution of 'Coldrif' cough syrup after the deaths of several children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. "General public is also hereby sensitised to abstain from using the syrup," the order read. "Assistance of all stakeholders towards the strict implementation and wide dissemination of this public notice is highly solicited," it added.
