The Delhi High Court dismissed petition seeking to prevent Prasar Bharati from referring to BCCI cricket team as "Team India" or "Indian National Team". The high court called the plea by advocate Reepak Kansal a "wastage of the court's time". Kansal contended that BCCI is a private body and such portrayal by broadcasters implicitly conferred national status on the BCCI.
