The Delhi High Court on Wednesday dismissed a plea seeking the removal of the graves of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru and JKLF founder Mohammad Maqbool Bhat from Tihar Jail. The court said the matter must be decided by the government, keeping law and order in mind. It, however, agreed that the graves cannot become sites of pilgrimage or glorification.
