The Delhi High Court dismissed a plea to halt the demolition of a Pakistani-Hindu refugee camp at Majnu Ka Tilla. It noted failed efforts to rehabilitate refugees, largely due to Union government's delays. Vacating its March 12, 2024 interim order, the court ruled that the petitioner and others have "no right to continue to occupy the area in question".
