Delhi High Court on Monday set aside Central Information Commission's (CIC) order directing CBSE to provide information under RTI about whether Smriti Irani had cleared Class 10th and 12th exams in 1991 and 1993 respectively. The court, while delivering the verdict, stated that CIC's approach was "thoroughly misconceived" and inconsistent with settled law.
