Delhi High Court has protected actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's personality rights and restrained the misuse of her name and pictures via technological tools, including AI. Noting that Aishwarya is "one of the most celebrated personalities" in Indian entertainment industry, the court said the "misuse isn't only causing financial detriment...but also...[harms] her dignity, reputation and goodwill".
