A 70-year-old Delhi-based retired engineer was put under digital arrest for eight hours. The man had received a call from cybercriminals who posed as Mumbai Police officials and was told that a parcel containing drugs had been delivered in his name. He was told to download Skype for a video call over which he was made to transfer ₹10.3 crore.
