Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma announced a 96% benefit for residents regularising unauthorised water connections under new Delhi Jal Board (DJB) schemes. The five per cent compound interest earlier levied will be reduced. Verma said the initiative will ease the DJB's financial strain while modernising Delhi's ageing water and sewer lines.
