Delhi residents owe the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) ₹1.42 lakh crore in unpaid water bills, officials said. Domestic users account for ₹15,000 crore, while commercial consumers owe ₹66,000 crore. Government departments have pending dues of ₹61,000 crore, with Delhi Police topping the defaulters’ list, followed by various Delhi and Central government offices, officials added.
