The Supreme Court on Friday blamed Delhi Police's "sheer negligence" after a Russian woman, engaged in custody battle of child with estranged Indian husband, fled the country via Nepal border. "Both police and ministry (MEA) have taken this lightly," the court stated. It also asked authorities to get in touch with Indian embassy in Moscow to bring child back.
