Delhi's sex ratio at birth has dropped again, falling from 922 females per 1,000 males in 2023 to 920 in 2024, down from 933 in 2020, government report said. It also noted that death rate per 1,000 of population rose to 6.37 during 2024 from 6.16 in 2023. "1% fall...means...dip of almost 1,800 females," said Sabu George, a researcher.
