Delhi High Court has directed the owner of a Delhi-based shop selling belts to pay ₹5 lakh as damages to Louis Vuitton for selling counterfeit goods in violation of its previous order. "It's a commercial evil, which erodes brand value, amounts to duplicity with the trusting consumer, and has serious repercussions on the fabric of the national economy," it said.
