Delhi is set to witness its first-ever artificial rain to tackle air pollution between July 4 and 11, subject to weather conditions, Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said. IIT Kanpur has submitted flight plan for cloud seeding operation to IMD Pune for technical coordination, he added. The seeding will involve five aircraft sorties over low-security air zones in Delhi.
