US President Donald Trump said that Jack Smith, who was Special Counsel in US Department of Justice (DOJ) under ex-President Joe Biden spied on Republican Senators. "They tried to take down Republican Party and got caught," he added. Trump said this after FBI claimed that Smith tapped phones of eight Republican senators while probing January 6 Capitol Hill riots case.
