Floods triggered by heavy rainfall have hit 402 villages across 17 districts in Uttar Pradesh, affecting over 84,000 people. Prayagraj, Varanasi, Ballia, and Lakhimpur Kheri are among the worst affected. Over 3,000 residents have been moved to relief camps as the state deploys boats and NDRF teams to aid in rescue operations.
