Devotees headed from Haridwar to the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand booked two ambulances recently and converted them into taxis to avoid traffic and reach the shrine early. However, they were stopped by Sonprayag police as the checkpost had not received any information about the ambulances. While one ambulance was from Rajasthan, the second was from Haridwar. The drivers were fined.
