DGCA directed Air India to make additional maintenance checks on all its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner planes following a 787-8 Dreamliner's crash in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The checks include those of fuel parameter, cabin air compressor, electronic engine control system, engine fuel driven actuator, oil system, hydraulic system and take-off parameters. Power assurance checks to also be carried out.
