DGCA found multiple lapses at major Indian airports during surveillance it conducted during night and early morning hours. The lapses included reappearing defects on aircraft despite being flagged and faded line markings on runways. DGCA also found a domestic flight held up due to worn tyres. It gave seven days to concerned airlines and airports to make rectifications.
