Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued draft duty and rest period norms for cabin crew across Indian airlines. Under the draft norms, cabin crew can operate a maximum of eight to ten hours in any 24-hour period and must get a minimum rest of at least 12 hours. Working hours and rest periods can increase under different conditions.
