After a helicopter made an emergency landing on a highway in Uttarakhand on Saturday, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended the operations of its operator Kestrel Aviation with immediate effect. DGCA stated it has begun real-time monitoring of helicopter operations via live camera feeds from helipads. It also ordered special audits for all helicopter operators in Uttarakhand.
