Team India wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel hit his maiden Test hundred during India's first inning in the first Test against West Indies in Ahmedabad. He reached his hundred off 190 deliveries. He then celebrated the hundred by paying tribute to his father Nem Chand, who is a retired Havildar of Indian Army who had taken part in the 1999 Kargil War.
