Maharashtra Police has summoned an X user and seven others over fake news about Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's daughter Anjali. A parody account with the handle @dhruvrahtee had allegedly claimed that Anjali had cleared the exam without appearing for it. "Dhruv Rathee confirmed that the tweets were not by him...The tweets against Anjali...are defamatory in nature," an officer said.
