After 41 people died at a stampede at his rally in Karur, TVK chief Vijay said that he has not visited the affected persons so far, as his presence there would lead to an "unusual situation". He said, "I will meet you soon." His response came following criticism for not visiting Karur and meeting the victims' families and the injured.
