Singer Asha Bhosle spoke about having similar voice to late singer Lata Mangeshkar and how she trained differently to avoid being compared to her. She said, "I realised I'd have to change my singing style because Didi [Lata] is already there... I didn't want to be pitted against her." She added, "I brought Western singing style to India...trained myself accordingly."
