Director Pa Ranjith and three others were booked after stuntman SM Raju died while performing a car-toppling stunt on the sets of an upcoming movie. Ranjith, stunt choreographer Rajkamal, Neelam Productions, and Prabhakaran were booked under 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'. The authorities stated the incident might have occurred due to poor planning of the stunt's sequence.
