The Kerala High Court has quashed sexual assault case against Malayalam director Ranjith Balakrishnan on July 4. The director's attorney pointed out that the alleged incident, which took place in 2012, couldn't have happened as Bengaluru's Taj Hotel (location of alleged crime) opened in 2016. Advocate also stated there was no reason provided for 12-year delay in filing the case.
