The Walt Disney Company has appointed PepsiCo Vice Chairman and CFO Hugh Johnston as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective December 4. The post has been vacant since Christine McCarthy stepped down in June. Johnston, who became PepsiCo CFO in 2010, will receive an annual base salary of $2 million at Disney, the company said.
