Disney Hotstar CEO Sajith Sivanandan has resigned ahead of the company's merger with Reliance Industries' Indian media assets, Reuters reported. The report comes days after the Competition Commission of India approved the ₹70,350-crore merger. All live sporting events, including IPL, will be reportedly streamed on the Hotstar app, not Reliance's JioCinema.
