Twenty four-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic defeated USA's Learner Tien in the first round of US Open 2025, winning in straight sets 6-1, 7-6(7-3), 6-2. With this, he became the first tennis player to win 75 consecutive opening-round matches at Grand Slams, 55 of which have come in straight sets. Djokovic will face USA's Zachary Svajda in second round.
