The DMK has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a stay on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list in Tamil Nadu. The plea adds that since final order on Bihar case is still pending before the Supreme Court, proceeding with the voter list revision in Tamil Nadu would violate the voting rights of its citizens.
