Dr Shipra Dhar, a gynaecologist in Varanasi, has delivered over 500 baby girls in her clinic without charging any fees. Dhar stated she has seen families going in shock at the birth of girls and she wants birth of girls to bring pride. She also sponsors full education of 12 underprivileged girls, funds Sukanya Samriddhi accounts of 25 girls.
