Dr Arunoday Mondal travelled 160 km on weekends for 23 years to treat patients for free in the Sundarbans. He has built four clinics and treated over 2 lakh patients so far. "When I was working in medical camps, I felt that the government medical infrastructure aid hadn't quite reached the people living deep inside the Sundarbans," he stated.
