A 27-year-old woman, Choisang Tamang from Darjeeling, allegedly died by suicide at her employer's flat in Antop Hill, after being accused of theft. She left a note claiming innocence, stating she hadn't stolen anything. Jewellery worth ₹10 lakh was reportedly missing. Police have registered an accidental death case and are probing all angles, examining her phone and witness statements.
