Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma warned of strict action against those inciting unrest after singer Zubeen Garg's death. He said, "Certain elements, including INC Assam chief attempted to instigate violence and unrest following demise of Zubeen." His remark came after Gaurav Gogoi allegedly claimed that "if singer like Garg had died in another state, the shops would've been burnt down".
