Bo Hines, who headed the Council of Advisers on Digital Assets at US President Donald Trump's administration, has announced his resignation. Hines is stepping away from the role to return to the private sector. He backed the GENIUS Act, which creates regulatory regime for dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies known as stablecoins, that could make digital assets a daily norm for making payments.
