US President Donald Trump imposed a 50% tariff on Brazil on Wednesday. Trump signed an executive order applying an additional 40% tariff on Brazil in addition to the 10% tariff, which has already been in place since April. Civil aircraft, aluminium, and energy products are among the products excluded from the 40% tariff and would attract the 10% tariff instead.
