The Gujarat High Court criticised Saman Abdul who attended a virtual court proceeding from a toilet in June and said the court proceedings or the court institution are "dragged to the washroom". The court stated it has ordered Saman to do community service for a month. The court had earlier imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on Saman.
