A drunk man climbed a 70-foot jackfruit tree near the Bengaluru Police Commissioner's office before jumping to the ground after demanding a cigarette from police officers on Thursday. Despite officers' efforts to catch him with a tarpaulin to prevent injury, the man reportedly sustained serious hip injuries from the fall. He was transported to Bowring Hospital for treatment.
