A group of drunk men set a Ravan effigy ablaze on Dussehra morning in Bhopal hours before it was to burn before a crowd. Organisers saw the demon king's effigy in flames when they arrived at the spot at 6 am. "They were in a red car...They were drunk and were smoking cigarettes," a man said in a video.
