The reconstitution of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) has been approved, with economist S Mahendra Dev appointed as its Chairperson for two years. The new part-time members are Soumya Kanti Ghosh, K V Raju, Chetan Ghate, Pami Dua, Pulak Ghosh, and Gourav Vallabh. Before Mahendra Dev, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery held the Chairperson post.
